Rookie? Try the House Signature

So you've heard about Chino Locos from friends, family, co-workers, neighbours, etc.  And finally, you've ventured in for a crazy asian burrito.  Then you're hit with a menu offering 7-different options!!! Oh no what to do? We'd suggest you try our House Signature, #1 off our menu, the asian slow roast pork.  But you gotta order it by name: "Sweeeeeet".  It isn't our house signature by accident.  It's phenomenally delicious.  Marinated in a secret asian wet marinade, the lean cut of pork is allowed to marinate and soak up that flavour for 24-hrs to get it nice and tasty all the… whaddup?

Warning: “The Hot Sauce is HOT!!!”

Our homemade green hot sauce has always had a bit of a sting to it, but over the last few batches, our customers have been commenting that "it wasn't hot enough" for them.   Well, we've made sure of it this time!   Our green hot sauce is made of 6-different varieties of chili peppers all cooked/roasted/pan-seared to bring out their natural flavours and inherent spicy-ness.   This past week alone, I can tell you I've seen at least two grown men in tears after trying one of our burritos with a HOT spice-factor.  Even with several warnings, they were unconvinced and wanted… whaddup?

Charles in Charge

Charles cycles in from the west-end about once a week to get his burrito fix.  With the beach bike path as both his journey and destination, he'll stop by to refuel for the ride home.  He started his Chino Locos experience with #3 from the menu - "Da Finest" (aka. the fish burrito) but has since moved on and has been trying other menu options, including the weekly specials.  Seen here in the photo on the left is Charles' latest choice - the house signature burrito:  slow-roasted pork with chow mein, fully-loaded (#1 on the menu titled "Sweeeeeet").  It's got… whaddup?

Kung Fu Tex Mex

kungfu-tex-mex What is an Asian burrito?  Well, we take the best of popular Asian cuisine such as variety in texture, ingredient mix, freshness, cooking technique and flavour and modernize the experience with an easy-to-eat, grab n go burrito while staying true to Tex Mex as well.   Sounds strange, but the two mix really well.  The Tex Mex flavours and philosophy is represented with a delicious homemade chipotle sauce, fresh guacamole, shredded cheese, dollops of sour cream, freshly squeezed lime, and cilantro.   And of course, a delicously toasted tortilla shell --  now available… whaddup?
